Anita Sohan is currently the Director for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Health. She has over ten (10) years’ experience in the field of international relations and has previously worked for the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation in the field of cybersecurity and global ICT agenda coordination, as well as for the Ministry of National Security.  

Anita has served as a member on several committees including the Cabinet-appointed Inter-Ministerial Committee that developed the National Cyber Security Strategy. She has also led policy development and capacity building initiatives both nationally and internationally, and has worked closely with multilateral organisations such as the Organization of American States, the International Telecommunication Union and the Commonwealth Secretariat.

Anita holds a Master’s Degree in International Security from the University of Leicester and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus.

Vejai is an IT professional with over 20 years experience in the areas of cybersecurity, IT governance, ICT4D, risk management and project management. He has worked in the national  and regional security sphere within CARICOM specializing in intelligence and border security systems. Internationally, he has worked extensively with organisations such as the OAS/CICTE, INTERPOL, CSIS and SOCA/UK on initiatives aimed at building capacity in regional security operations.

He is a  graduate of the University of London in Computing and Information Systems and  the University of Liverpool in Information Systems Management and holds professional certifications in Project Management (PMP), Service Management (ITIL), Cybersecurity (CISSP) and Risk and IT Controls (CRISC). Vejai is also a certified digital forensics examiner having received extensive training in digital forensics and ethical hacking and was a pioneer in the introduction of Visual Investigative Analysis for regional intelligence operations where he is certified trainer for IBM Analytics. 

He currently serves as Director of Technology Services at COSTAATT as well as Education Director for the ISACA Trinidad & Tobago chapter.

Cintra Sooknanan is an accomplished Attorney at Law in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago also holding a BSc in Computing and Information Systems. Her specialisation includes Corporate Commercial, ICT and IP matters.

She continues to contribute locally in the reform of legislation and policy relating to Intellectual Property (with special focus on new gTLDs and traditional knowledge), E-commerce, National ICT Agenda, Privacy and Data Protection, E-government, Child Protection, Internet Governance and Cybersecurity.

At an international level, she has been heavily engaged in working groups of the Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and also through the Internet Society International, she continues to represent the interests and needs of local internet end-users.

Ms. Sooknanan has over 10 years of experience building local ICT Not-for-Profit organisations, having leadership and involvement through much of her professional and academic career. She is the Founding Chair of the Internet Society Trinidad and Tobago Chapter.

Sanjay Bahadoorsingh holds the B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of The West Indies (UWI), the M.Sc. degree in Power Systems Engineering and Economics from The University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology (UMIST) and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Power Engineering from The University of Manchester (UoM).He is a Lecturer in Energy Systems and Postgraduate Coordinator within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The UWI St Augustine Campus.

He has served as, the Assistant Chief Examiner for CXC’s CAPE Electrical and Electronic Technology,  a member of CROSQ (CARICOM Organization for Standards and Quality) Technical Sub-Committee on Electric Cables at the Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards (TTBS) and an alternate on the Committee for the Certification of Energy Service Companies, Ministry of Energy and Energy Affairs (MEEA). He continues to serve as a member of the Electrical Technical Committee at the Government Electrical Inspectorate (GEI) and the Education Liaison Officer of the International Society of Automation (ISA) Trinidad Section. He is a locally registered Electrical Engineer with the Board of Engineering of Trinidad & Tobago (BOETT) and a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). He is a former Chairman of IEEE Trinidad and Tobago Section. He is the Chairman of the GEI Technical Committee Working Group on Electric Vehicles. He also advises on local and regional power engineering technical issues. He is a member of 5^th  Board of Trustees for The College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT).

Dev Anand Teelucksingh is a Technical Community/ICT Civil Society Representative from the Trinidad & Tobago Computer Society (TTCS).

Dev Anand graduated from the University of the West Indies with an honours degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He has been working for the engineering firm Engineering Consultants since 1995.

He is a founding member of the Trinidad & Tobago Computer Society (TTCS) which became a non-profit organisation in 2004 under his direction. Dev Anand has been a lead drafter of many of the TTCS’s comments on ICT related policies in Trinidad and Tobago for the past fifteen years and is the lead developer of the TTCS OSSWIN , a collection of Free and Open Source Software for Windows.

With the TTCS becoming an ICANN accredited At-Large Structure in mid 2006, he continues to participate in ICANN At-Large as the At-Large Representative from TTCS. He served as secretariat for the Latin American and Caribbean Regional At-Large Organisation (LACRALO) from 2009-2012. He has also served as a member of the ICANN At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) and as a member on the ALAC Leadership Team. In 2019, he received an award by the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) for his outstanding contribution to Caribbean Internet Governance.
